Christmas Concert - December 2011

On 15th December our 2011 Christmas Concert took place at Great Barford Methodist Church where we rehearse. Our Conductor was Adrian Besant and our Accompanist Tessa Wood. The concert featured solos by Chris Thomas, Hannah Bavington, Sue Allison, Sally-Ann Baldwin and visiting tenor Allex Ellar. Seasonal readings featured works by Jean Atkinson, Henry Longfellow and John Betjeman. The audience joined us in singing selected verses of seasonal carols. After the concert a member of the audience commented that our rendition of Walking in the Air 'made the hairs on his neck stand on end' it was so ethereal.
